Can you take and use a portable TV with antenna on an airplane or are there rules against this? - coby portable tv

I did not know really need to the TV function, not only the DVD but surely use it if this would disapprove of a television in the plane.
I try to give the Coby listed here: http://www.cobyusa.com/product/item.php?item=TFDVD5080&pcat=dvd&pscat=dvdtv_combo&pscat2 =

TV, cell phones and radios, and other "beneficiaries" are not allowed to use on all U.S. flights, would be to interfere with flight communications. There is a debate about the technical reasons for this, but it is forbidden by the FAA.

NO
You can use a device or a TV remote control in the aircraft. Disturbing frequency devices for the drivers.

I think he can bring on the plane, provided they do not use the TV function DVD only feature. You would do well to check with http://www.tsa.gov/ where they can view a list of items and can not lead on that plane.
